| Since the age of mythology, saints have appeared as beacons of hope whenever evil threatens the land. Armored in holy cloth, they fight to protect the goddess Athena, ruler of the earth. The Pegasus Saint Seiya, though a low-ranking bronze saint, has saved Athena countless times. Legends of the battles he has fought alongside his comrades continue to be passed down through the generations. Amongst those feats was the sealing of Mars, god of war and guardian of his namesake planet. With the passage of time, the revival of Mars grows imminent. Koga, a boy who was saved by Seiya and raised by Saori Kido (a.k.a. Athena), now spends his days training to become a saint in preparation for the looming crisis. He is as yet unaware of his destiny... Once he awakens to the power of the Cosmo hidden within him, the legend of a new saint will unfold! |
