Bandai Hobby Center |
|
|
|
Completed in 2006, the Bandai Hobby Center in Shizuoka
City is a production factory for plastic models. While most toy
makers today manufacture their products overseas, Bandai’s Plastic
Model Business has remained firmly “Made in Japan,” and still
carries on the techniques of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
There is no question that this dedication to quality is one of
the reasons behind the sustained popularity of the Gundam series
of plastic models. Bandai’s Plastic Model Business is continuously
striving to improve itself in order to live up to our customers’
high expectations. |

The Omochanomachi BANDAI Museum in Tochigi Prefecture is intended to be an aid to study and research, and also to present the wonder of invention and joy of creating to the public. The museum displays approximately 30,000 pieces from BANDAI's own collection of toys from around the world and the Edison Collection of Thomas Edison's inventions. The exhibition also features the results of our research on these collections. |
