  January 2005   Bandai Games Inc. established in the USA.
      Bandai Visual establishes Bandai Visual USA Inc. in the USA.
  March 2005   New game machine Data Carddass introduced in collaboration with Banpresto.

  April 2005   Palbox Co., Ltd. transfers some of its operations to Megahouse Corporation.
  May 2005   Announcement of upcoming management integration between Namco and Bandai through the establishment of a joint holding company.
  June 2005   Kazunori Ueno is appointed President & CEO.
  July 2005   Cumulative worldwide sales of the Tamagotchi Plus series clear 10 million units.
      Bandai forms a capital alliance with the infants' toy manufacturer People Co., Ltd.
  August 2005   Charaken Co., Ltd is established as an offshoot of the Bandai Character Laboratory.
  September 2005   NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. is established by Bandai Co., Ltd. and NAMCO LIMITED as a joint holding company.
  October 2005   Cumulative sales of Shinra-Bansho Chocolate pass the 10 million unit mark.
  November 2005   Cho Jinsei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus is released.
  March 2006   The Bandai Hobby Center, Hobby Products Department's new production base, is opened in the city of Shizuoka, Shizuoka prefecture.
      Bandai enters the children's mobile phone market with Kids-Keitai Papipo! developed in collaboration with WILLCOM, Inc.
      The domestic games arm of Bandai and NAMCO integrate to form NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc.
      Complete Selection Masked Rider No.1 Transformation Belt is launched to great acclaim.
      Cumulative worldwide sales of the Tamagotchi Plus series pass the 20 million units mark.
  July 2006   The Tamagotchi Jet, a promotional program carried out jointly with JAL, comes into service.
  August 2006   The Gunpla Expo is held, attracting more than 45,000 visitors over its 8-day duration.
      The Bandai Museum concludes its operations in Matsudo.
  September 2006   Bandai acquires the stocks of CCP Co., Ltd., which then becomes a Bandai subsidiary.
  October 2006   Cumulative worldwide sales of the Tamagotchi Plus series clear 25 million units.
  November 2006   The Tamagotchi World event is held to mark the 10th anniversary of the Tamagotchi's debut. The attendance over the 2-day period is over 50,000.
  December 2006   The 1/12 RX-78-2 Gundam, a large-scale assembly kit with a total length of 1.5 meters, is launched and receives considerable attention.
  January 2007   Space Battleship YAMATO, a 1/350th scale plastic model with a total length of 766mm, featuring electronic gadgetry, is launched, causing a sensation.
  April 2007   First ever Bandai kids haircut shop, Anpanman Hair Salon, opens inside Yokohama Anpanman Children’s Museum.
      Omochanomachi-BANDAI Museum opens in Tochigi Prefecture’s Mibumachi.
      Bandai, the Ishimori Group, and ITOCHU Corporation begin a capital and business partnership.

  June 2007   Kids Photo Bandai Studio, the first Bandai photography studio for children, opens.
Earth Capsule Konchu Saishu (Insect Collection), the first capsule toy to make use of biomass plastic, is released. It goes on to win the Minister’s Prize from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in the Eco-Products Category of November’s Eco-Products Awards 2007.

  July 2007   Specialty store CiaoStyle Harajuku opens, selling products from the Ciao Style brand, a collaboration between Bandai and the popular
      Shogakukan comic book Ciao. A second shop is established in Shinsaibashi in March 2008.
  August 2007   Directly managed family entertainment cafe Roasis and Tamagotchi Depart (Department Store) begin operations.
  September 2007   Mugen Puchi Puchi (Infinite Pop-Pop) is launched. Breaking the one million unit sales barrier by year’s end, the product becomes an enormous hit.
  November 2007   Group collaborative effort, the Ultra Monsters Battle Project,introduces Data Carddass Ultra Monsters Battle. A link is established with Ultra Galaxy: Ultra Monsters Battle broadcasted on TV channel BS 11.
  December 2007   First Tamogotchi full-length feature film is released.
  February 2008   BANDAI SOUTH ASIA PTE., LTD. Established in Singapore.
  April 2008   BANDAI (SHENZHEN) CO., LTD. Established in China.
  June 2008   The Japan Toy Association presents its first ever annual awards, with Bandai's “Mugen(infinite) series” claiming the Trendy Toy Award, and the “EyeClops” taking the Innovation Award.
Bandai America secures master toy license for “Kamen Rider Dragon Knight,” scheduled to air starting February 2009.
  September 2008   Carddass launches a next generation trading card game, “Battle Spirits,” to commemorate its 20th anniversary. In the first four months over 100 million cards are shipped.
  October 2008   Bandai Hobby Center wins the 2008 Nikkei Monozukuri Award (sponsored by Nihon Keizai Shimbun) for its quality plastic models and efficient, environment-friendly method of manufacturing them.
  November 2008   Tamagotchi Plus Color launches featuring a new color LCD screen.

  December 2008   First place award received for “Excellence in Product Safety Measures” from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
  March 2009   SEIKA Co., Ltd transfers all business operations to Sun-Star Stationary Co. Ltd.
  June 2009   BANDAI POLSKA SP.ZO.O established in Poland.
  July 2009   Commemorative goods released in honor of the 30th anniversary of “Mobile Suit Gundam,” the animated TV series.
  September 2009   “Kamen Rider W” becomes a smash hit.

  October 2009   Full-length animated TV series “Tamagotchi!” begins airing in Japan.
  November 2009   “Tamagotchi iD” hits Japanese stores as the first customizable Tamagotchi via web download.
  December 2009   BANDAI CORPORACION MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. established in Mexico.
  March 2010   Cumulative sales for all Gundam plastic models surpass 400 million units.
  March 2010   Real Grade (RG) series launched to commemorate 30th anniversary of Gundam plastic models (“Gunpla”).
  April 2010   Official Mobile Suit Gundam café “GUNDAM Café” opens in Akihabara, Tokyo.

  July 2010   RG 1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam unveiled at the Shizuoka Hobby Fair.
  September 2010   Kamen Rider OOO is a major hit.
  November 2010   Dragon Ball Heroes, a new card-based arcade machine, launches nationwide.
  February 2011   TV series Power Rangers SAMURAI premieres, followed by the release of related toys in the United States and Europe.
  November 2011   Tamagotchi celebrates its 15th anniversary. Over 20,000 fans attend the fan appreciation festival hosted in Lazona Kawasaki.
  December 2011   Gunpla Builders World Cup 2011 World Championship, the world's first competition dedicated to Gundam plastic models, is held in Hong Kong.
  April 2012   Gundam Front Tokyo, a cutting-edge entertainment space for the Gundam series, opens in Diver City Tokyo, a commercial complex in Tokyo's waterfront area.
